Swiss ball exercises also called fit ball exercise or physio ball exercise are a great way to work out all parts of the body . Upper body exercise amikng use of the dumbbell can be performed using swiss ball exercise to add an extra level of toughness and fitness. In addition to performing exercise to improve fitness these balls can also be used as a seat or bench to make sure that muscles are given  a workout routinely.  Some of the exercise for the upper body using a swiss ball include

  1. Wall pushup .  this involves placing the ball on the wall at a decent height so that one can reach it and aming to andfro  motions .
  2. Pushup  Similar to the regular push ups the Swiss ball is palces under the legs oget the required amount of elevation.
  3. Reverse push up: here the ball is placed under the hands rather than the legs.
  4. Tricep Dips: The bal is placed behind and one takes sit ups with the hand placed on the ball behind.
  5. The exercise for the lower body includes Swiss ball squat, single leg ball squat, Swiss ball lunge, swis ball bridge, reverse ball bridge where the ball is placed under the legs ,                 hamstring curl and inner thigh.
  6. The exercises for the trunk involves ball crunch, roll away, side crunch, back extension, plank, reverse plank, jacknife, bal rotation and wood chop.
